      As a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist,  I have been using Expressive Arts, (music, dance, visual arts, psychodrama, storytelling, poetry, journaling, therapeutic drumming, and mindful walking) for over 40 years in clinical and community settings to promote creative healing. My mission is to improve and enrich the bio-psych-social and physical functioning of those living with depression, anxiety, stress, chronic pain, social isolation and grief through connectedness and experiential learning with meaningful evidenced based interventions.  

    I am also a Certified Dementia Practitioner, Certified Life Coach, and a Health Rhythm Group Empowerment Drumming Facilitator.  I am having an amazing career as a clinician and healthcare consultant, and I have had the privilege of serving people living with addictions, dementia, brain injuries, CVA's, autism, depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges.
